the acting, costumes, relationship dynamics, and overarching plot of this movie was amazing. if i could have seen it in theaters i definitely would have. there are a couple gory scenes but overall its not that bad definitely recommend it :)
Helpful ReportThere is a little bit of violence so don’t watch it if you are sensitive to violence and also a lady slices her husbands ankles. It’s got a tiny bit of sex but it only shows kissing. There is a lot of death and a lot of tension

Helpful ReportMy family really enjoyed The Dressmaker. There were quite a few iffy scenes, and heavy topics including death, abuse, and bullying. Most of the characters were really messed up. However, really well made, and the acting was great, and some twisted humor. I would recommend watching.
